Vertica Pos-Installation Tasks
This task are to be done after you install Vertica
Add the bin path in Vertica Admin user home file ".bashrc": Just alter the file .bashrc file and the lines bellow.# Vertica specific aliases and functions
export PATH=/opt/vertica/bin:$PATHIf you are using a Enterprise Vertica Database you will need a licence key that is provided to you by your reseller.
After the Cluster installation you will need to use the admintools tool to create your database , when you will do this for the first time Vertica will ask you for thr license. Make sure that you have access to the path where the license file is located.
After this is done you will have access to the Vertica admintools tool that let's you create and manage Vertica databases.
