ORA-42001: online redefinition options require COMPATIBLE parameter to be string or greater

What triggered the Error:

The following types of redefinition require a 10.2 or higher compatibility setting: *o redefining a materialized view lo. *o redefining a table with object. *o redefining a clustered tabl. *o redefining an AQ queue tabl. *o redefining a table partition The following types of redefinition require an 11.0 or higher compatibility setting. *o redefining a table with a materialized view lo. *o redefining a table with dependent materialized view.

What should we do to fix it:

Shut down and restart with an appropriate compatibility setting.
