Oracle Solution for Error ora-31496
ORA-31496: must use DBMS_CDC_PUBLISH.DROP_CHANGE_TABLE to drop change tables
What triggered the Error:
An attempt was made to use the SQL command DROP TABLE for change tables, but DROP TABLE is not supported for change tables.What should we do to fix it:
Use the DBMS_CDC_PUBLISH.DROP_CHANGE_TABLE procedure instead of the DROP TABLE command.
