Oracle Solution for Error ora-30556
ORA-30556: functional index is defined on the column to be modified
What triggered the Error:
An ALTER TABLE MODIFY COLUMN was issued on a column on which a functional index exists.What should we do to fix it:
Drop the functional index before attempting to modify the column.
