ORA-19627: cannot read backup pieces during control file application

What triggered the Error:

is is a control file restore conversation, which is using the offline range information from one or more control files to update datafile checkpoint data. Backup sets are not used during this type of conversation.

What should we do to fix it:

e conversation is still active and more control files may be applied.
