Oracle Solution for Error ora-16668

ORA-16668: operation invalid on fast-start failover target database

What triggered the Error:

The attempted command was not allowed on the fast-start failover target standby database when fast-start failover is currently enabled.

What should we do to fix it:

Retry the attempted command on a database other than the fast-start failover target standby database. Alternatively, disable fast-start failover and reissue the same command to the fast-start failover target standby database.
