Oracle Solution for Error ora-16194
ORA-16194: Modifying DB_UNIQUE_NAME requires SID='*' qualifier
What triggered the Error:
The setting for the DB_UNIQUE_NAME parameter must be exactly the same on all RAC instances so the SID='*' qualifier is required.What should we do to fix it:
Re-enter the command using the SID='*' qualifier.
