ORA-12819: missing options in PARALLEL clause

What triggered the Error:

PARALLEL clause cannot be empty.

What should we do to fix it:

specify any combination of DEGREE { | DEFAULT } and INSTANCES { | DEFAULT } within the PARALLEL clause.
