Oracle Solution for Error ora-03298
ORA-03298: cannot shrink datafile - file string is under hot backup
What triggered the Error:
Attempt to shrink a datafile while it is under hot backup. This is not allowed.What should we do to fix it:
Retry shrinking the file after the hot backup completes.
