Oracle Solution for Error ora-01649

ORA-01649: operation not allowed with a backup control file

What triggered the Error:

An attempt is being made to perform a command that does not make sense when the control file is a restored backup.

What should we do to fix it:

Wait until after the database has been opened and try again.
