Oracle Solution for Error ora-01176
ORA-01176: data dictionary has more than the string files allowed by the controlfie
What triggered the Error:
After a CREATE CONTROLFILE, the data dictionary was found to have more datafiles than that supported by the control file.What should we do to fix it:
Recreate the control file with a larger MAXDATAFILES.
