Oracle Solution for Error ora-01143

ORA-01143: cannot disable media recovery - file string needs media recovery

What triggered the Error:

An attempt to disable media recovery found a file that needs media recovery, thus media recovery cannot be disabled.

What should we do to fix it:

Recover the offending file or drop the tablespace it belongs to and retry this command.
