HP Vertica Management Console Log Viewer

In this tutorial we will see how to use HP Vertica 7.0 Management Console Log Viewer. This is a very use full toll when monitoring the Vertica Cluster.

  • To access the Log Viewer go to the Main page and then to Diagnostics.
  • Choose the MC Log option.
  • Once inside you can filter you log data by using the (A)-Time Frame, (B)-Type of incident, (C)-The component affected by the action, (D)-The output message. You can also export the log file by using the export option(E).
  • You can also search by time frames using the GUI displayed in the image.
