How to download and deploy new types of agents in OEM 12C

In this tutorial we will demonstrate how to download and deploy new types of agents in OEM 12C

  • 1-From the main screen -> Setup >> Extensibility >> Self Update
  • 2-Select the option Agent Software
  • 3-Select the Agent you want to download(in our case MSS 64 bits)
  • 4-Choose to run immediately
  • 5-Select OK and follow the job details if you want
  • 6-Select the downloaded agent and click on APPLY
  • 7-Click OK and read the informative message.

    • Done the agent for the MS SQL Server was installed in is ready to monitor SQL Server targets. You need to remember that this feature is not for free and a license will be needed for this.
