Oracle Solution for Error ora-27199

ORA-27199: skgfpst: sbtpcstatus returned error

What triggered the Error:

tpcstatus returned an error. This happens during a proxy backup or restore.

What should we do to fix it:

is error is returned from the media management software which is linked with Oracle. There should be additional messages which explain the cause of the error. This error usually requires contacting the media management vendor.
