Oracle Solution for Error ora-27196

ORA-27196: skgfpbk: sbtpcbackup returned error

What triggered the Error:

tpcbackup returned an error. This happens when a proxy backup is begun.

What should we do to fix it:

is error is returned from the media management software which is linked with Oracle. There should be additional messages which explain the cause of the error. This error usually requires contacting the media management vendor.
