Oracle Solution for Error ora-27190

ORA-27190: skgfrd: sbtread2 returned error

What triggered the Error:

tread returned an error. This happens while reading a backup file during a restore operation.

What should we do to fix it:

is error is returned from the media management software which is linked with Oracle. There should be additional messages which explain the cause of the error. This error usually requires contacting the media management vendor.
