ORA-16041: Remote File Server fatal error

What triggered the Error:

The Remote File Server (RFS) process at the standby destination archive log site has encountered a disabling error and is no longer available. Further archiving to the standby site may not be possible.

What should we do to fix it:

Refer to the appropriate RFS trace file located at the standby site for details regarding the error encountered and if possible take corrective action.
